Just running the wires for your home or business doesn't mean you’re networked .You must use the proper wires and they must be installed correctly. We have seen many Cat5 type wiring installed wrong; it is easier to do this than you think. A Cat5 wire must never be bent, all of its speed is derived from how it’s installed. So, if you are paying for high speed network you may not be getting it at your router or point of entry. However, that does not mean you are getting high speed network to your device. Why? It is because the wiring was installed incorrectly. Cat5 type wiring or fiber optics have a protocol to be installed correctly, and doing this wrong could slow your transmission down to a snail’s pace. Without getting too technical let’s just think of it like a water hose, you bend the hose too much and no more water. It works the same way with internet, either networks or your LAN (Local Access Network). All networking wiring is categorized in mega hertz. The tighter the bend the faster the information comes through.
